After almost five years in private practice, I’m finally getting my act together (with the help of my dear friend Jeff, my new techie guy).

I have an updated website, mailing list, schedule system and invoicing process—but none of this was possible without all of you!

You were courageous and brave when you reached out during some of your most vulnerable parenting and family moments.You let me in—an invitation I am honoured and privileged to accept. THANK YOU!

Out of necessity, I started my private practice during one of the scariest and darkest times in my life. After painfully deciding to leave my marriage, I found myself a single mom of two toddlers with no job or income.

With the direction of my higher power, my own amazing therapist and mentor, and my supportive and caring family of choice, I crawled out of despair and discovered my true calling and heart’s desire.

It has been a journey of true faith, authentic living: at times confusion and rage, laughter and tears—oh, the tears! And all along there were all of you!

Sharing your stories, reaching out—you kept me brave, you kept me going, you kept me focused and accountable. One day at a time, one breath at a time.

I deeply and truly thank all of you for believing in me!

New and Extended Hours

New hours

  • Tuesdays: 12pm – 3pm
  • Wednesdays: 1pm – 7:30pm
  • Thursdays: 12pm – 3pm
  • Fridays: 9:30am – 3pm

Extended hours

I offer extended hours every other weekend.

  • Fridays: 5:30pm – 9:30pm
  • Saturdays: 1pm – 4pm
  • Sundays: 1pm – 4pm

The online booking system will allow extended hour appointments only on available days.

New Mummy Company Partnership

I’m excited to partner with the New Mummy Company, an organization that provides a range of excellent professional services to new parents.

In addition to my regular practice, I provide family therapy, potty training and sleep training services over the phone for New Mummy clients in Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa and Calgary.


Camps & Workshops

Radiant Girls
Sophia, my little bunny and daughter, has had some struggles this year in school. My hope is to empower her and give her what I didn’t have growing up: self-worth.

I searched long and hard and found Radiant Girls. She will be attending Radiant Girl camp this summer.

Radiant Girls offers summer camps designed to inspire a love of health and well-being for a girl’s mind, body and soul.

Gina and I are working on ways to get parents more involved in the process and the girls’ journey, so healing and self-discovery can continue well beyond camp.

The Arterie: Inspired Parenting Workshop
Perhaps I shouldn’t let you know, but I’m not a perfect parent. LMAO. I’m registered and attending too!

Imago Workshops
My new partner (Chris) and I attended an Imago couples workshop last spring. It was intense and it taught us tons of new tools. Even though we still struggle there is progress and I know this workshop helped us understand each other and equipped us with some great tools.

Imago couples workshops are covered by OHIP.

Personal Stories

The Meditation Box
My little cub and son, Ben, brought home a shoe box the other night. He said it was his meditation box.

While my daughter, Sophia, did homework with Chris, I went upstairs to meditate with Ben. By the time I got to his room, the lights were dimmed and he had taken out a small tea light candle, prayer and timer from the shoe box.

He sat crossed legged with his hands resting on his knees and asked me to do the same. He recited the most lovely prayer or mantra:

Open my ears to hear your voice, open our eyes to see you, open our mouths to say your words and open our hearts to your love: MA RA NA THA.

We sat silently for one minute. It was absolutely lovely!!

Thanks Mme Morgan. We have now made our own meditation box. The whole family knows Mom needs it most!!

Keeping my own stuff in check

At least once a month I work with my own therapist and mentor (Martha Peirce). This wise woman has been with me since I was 27. She guides me, holds me accountable, teaches me, cares about me. I am absolutely honoured and blessed she now supervises me in my own private practice.

Self-care nook

As most of you don’t know (LMAO), I struggle with being present. I’m challenging myself to become more mindful and dreading it! But I’m committed and I’m going to do it.

The series of classes offered by The Mindfulness Centre are covered by OHIP.


Activities & Suggestions

Slow things down
This summer, in keeping with my mindfulness and being present quest, I’m going to “TRY” and keep it simple and slow down—wish me luck!

Some ideas I’m exploring are:

  • Camping outdoors
  • Setting up a family reading area
  • Planting a vegetable garden
  • Practicing meditation (we now have our box) and gratitude

Pick a family summer theme
Create a family summer theme and work it into activities and outings.

Some suggestions:

  • Connection
  • Kindness
  • Spontaneity
  • Gratitude
  • Empathy

Summer reading
I am also going to attempt to read—really sit down and read.

Here’s my list:

  • Love Warrior, by Glennon Doyle Melton
  • Your Competent Child, by Jesper Juul
  • The Dance of Anger, by Harriet Lerner, Ph.D.
